Disney Store Cars 2 Die Cast Car Sets

        The Disney Store released four different destination themed die cast car sets for the theatrical premiere of Cars 2. Each set features the main characters from specific destinations in the film. The cars remain accurate to the film, with very close attention paid to the detailing. Some cars are specialized with sound effects. The cars that are included in these sets are also slightly larger than the individually packaged Cars 2 die cast cars (see here).

      The "Secret Agent Ops" die cast set includes Mater, Fin McMissile, Holley Shiftwell and Grem. Mater and Grem both feature gun firing sounds to accompany their secret agent weapons. The Secret Agents featured in this set are prevalent throughout all of the destinations in the film.

      The "Save the Queen" die cast set includes The Queen, Finn McMissile, Miles Axlerod and Mater. The characters in this set are depicted from the races that take place in London, England.  Mater and Finn McMissile both have special sound effects. Mater says "I get it! I get it! I know what to do!" and Fin McMissile says "Mater, I don't know what you're doing but stand down now!".

       "That's Amore!!!" features the main characters from the races that take place in Italy. Lightning McQueen, Guido and Luigi accompany their Uncle Topolino. Uncle Topolino says "the wise car hears one word and understands two" and Lightning McQueen says "nobody can make me laugh like Mater".

     The "Wasabi" die cast car set features Mater in Tokyo. Mater has wasabi on his tongue, that he had mistaken for pistachio ice cream. Mater's sound effects resonate with his scream. He is accompanied by the two sushi chefs from the night club.
