Tron Evolution Collector's Edition

      "Tron: Evolution" was created by Disney Interactive Studios as a prequel game to the Tron: Legacy film. The collector's edition package is available for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Each package comes with a copy of the game and an exclusive collector's edition light cycle. The light cycle itself is produced by Sideshow Collectibles and is enclosed in a protective display case complete with a drawer for the game. We are very impressed by Sideshow with the quality of the light cycle figure. It is a true collector's item and we would strongly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the Tron films.

Jack Skellington Canvas Art

       These beautiful portraits of Jack Skellington were released exclusively in Disney Stores and produced by Walt Disney Studios. These screen art pieces on gallery-wrapped canvas measure 23 inches in height by 15 3/4 inches wide. These collectible releases come with a bracket on the back of the piece for easy hanging and sold out quickly.

Tron 5 Disc Two-Movie Collection Lithograph

     Tron Legacy and The Original Classic Tron made their debut on blu-ray yesterday, April 5th. The 5-disc two-movie collection is available in a standard version with a 3D lenticular sleeve or in a collector's edition light identity disc. Enclosed in the case is a collectible Tron lithograph, exclusive to each of the 5-disc movie collections. The lithograph features an image of the original Tron costume with back light compositing. Tron was the first film to use backlit composite photography to colour the characters and environment. The 5-disc sets are a must have for fans!

Nightmare Before Christmas Tiffany Lamp

     This Nightmare Before Christmas tiffany lamp was released by Neca and is absolutely breathtaking. The detail and quality that went into the making of this collectible piece is stunning. This lamp features Jack and Sally with Zero together on the moonlit spiral hill. Neca has released 4 other tiffany style Nightmare Before Christmas lamps, all of which are beautifully done (see them here). This lamp in particular is one of the earlier releases, it is extremely sought after by collectors and can only be found on the secondary market.

Disney Store Exclusive Limited Edition Mother Gothel Doll

     The Disney Store created a limited edition Mother Gothel doll in honour of Disney's 50th animated feature film Tangled. Mother Gothel is the first villain in the limited edition collector doll series and is limited to a worldwide edition of 1500 pieces, complete with an individually numbered certificate of authenticity. She is designed to accompany the limited edition Rapunzel doll (see below).  Her clothing is very accurate to her outfit in the film, with a patterned, garnet satin gown embellished with gold accents and ruby rhinestones. Her hooded cloak is made of velvet and is removable. Her makeup was executed well, along with her iconic hairstyle. The smirk on Mother Gothel's face accentuates her personality, as she holds a hair brush in her right hand. She is an exquisite collectible figure with her stunning craftsmanship. Mother Gothel was available in select Disney Store locations across North America and in very limited quantities online. She sold out immediately once stores opened their doors and almost instantly online. We are ecstatic about the Disney Store finally producing a villain in the limited edition collector doll series and cannot wait for the next!

Disney Store Peter Pan Snowglobe

     This Disney Store Exclusive Peter Pan snowglobe features Peter Pan and the three Darling children within the iconic scene where Peter teaches them how to fly. The inside of the Darling house is a snowglobe that lights up and swirls glitter around Little John and Michael. Wendy floats by Peter on the roof, while Tinkerbell lights up between them and Nana is watching from the inside of the bedroom as the kids fly out the window. Compared to other snowglobes, the characters are all very large on this one. The character sculpts are accurate to the film and the proportions of the globe are fantastic.

Olszewski Gallery of Light: "Sleeping Beauty Castle"

 

      Olszewski Studios created a Gallery of Light box in honour of the Disneyland Sleeping Beauty Castle. It was released in Disneyland Theme Park in Novemeber 2010 and limited quantities were available. The castle itself is designed with persistence to recreate the original, as you can see here. The fireworks in the background change colours as Tinkerbell flies by in the sky. The shadow of the Walt and Mickey "Partners" statue that is cast upon the walkway adds an impressive finishing touch to the piece. Olszewski Studios did a magnificent job at capturing the magical feeling of Disneyland. This Gallery of Light box is 4" H x 5" W x 6" L and comes with a wall charger for optional use.
